The Program

What is Computer Science?

Students presenting their startup project
Startup Track

Start your business in college

The Startup Track immerses you in tech entrepreneurship: solve real problems for local businesses, build software solutions, and pitch to an industry jury. Networking, conferences, and mentorship included — you build your network before you even graduate.

Students at a programming competition
Competitions

Push your limits as a team

Hackathons, Game Jams, programming competitions — several times a year, you compete against other passionate students. It's a chance to push your limits, code under pressure, and create unforgettable memories.

Student using AI to develop
AI Approach

AI as a force multiplier

We don't fear AI, we use it. From day 1, you learn to leverage it to code faster, debug more efficiently, and design smarter applications. Our approach: efficiency and quality, no shortcuts.

Students in hands-on class
Tech Stack

Skills that matter

Web, mobile, game dev, IoT, Cloud, DevOps, cybersecurity, databases, project management — a comprehensive program covering the technologies the industry demands.

The cohort during an activity
Student Life

More than just a program

Indoor climbing, indoor surfing, escape rooms, cohort dinners, welcome activities — here, we put people first. Every student's integration and well-being is at the heart of the experience.

Startup Track

From idea to launch

An entrepreneurial track built into your program, where you learn to create value — not just code.

Step 1

Identify a real problem, meet local entrepreneurs, understand market needs, and define an opportunity.

Step 2

Design and develop a working solution, validate with real users, iterate fast. Product management and technical storytelling included.

Step 3

Before teaching, I spent several years at Staples, collaborating with international teams — managing projects, leading teams, and designing software architectures for large-scale systems. Those experiences gave me a strong grounding in best practices: software quality, testing, CI/CD, and deployment. Today I teach a wide range of courses and I'm especially passionate about video game development and anything that makes developers' daily lives more efficient.

With varied experience across different types of companies and environments, the opportunity to teach was a way for me to give back to the same CÉGEP that trained me. Always curious to learn and discover, I quickly explored a wide range of courses within the program. I have a very hands-on approach: there's nothing like getting your hands dirty to discover what you can do! Outside the classroom, you'll usually find me around a board game table or deeply invested in whatever creative project has caught my attention.

Testimonials

They lived it

"Interested in technology and science, I hesitated between several programs and CEGEPs before making my decision. I finally chose this one after a visit that simply blew me away. From this unique program, I take away incredible experiences, unforgettable friendships, participation in countless competitions and formative events, and above all a set of skills that will stay with me for life. The teachers all have a special connection with their students that you won't find anywhere else. If you're hesitating, I have only one piece of advice: go for it!"

"If I had to start my college studies over, I'd make the same choice without hesitation! Not fitting the computer science stereotype, on my first day I wasn't sure I belonged — but I quickly realized I was wrong. The teachers are close to the students, quickly building chemistry across the whole group. They offer concrete, stimulating projects that push us to surpass ourselves and develop our autonomy. I'm coming out confident about the job market, and attached to remarkable memories and friends. Forget the stereotypes, you might be missing the chance of a lifetime!"

Timothy Farley

Program graduate

"Attending the HUB, an innovation space within the Web and Mobile Application Development program, allowed me to master cutting-edge technologies and thrive in its entrepreneurial tech culture. Through a blend of teaching approaches, the professors passed on their passion and knowledge through hands-on learning and games. I felt the dedication of teachers who genuinely want us to have unique learning experiences."
